Italian and Diving Summary

Our Italian plus diving in Sicily program provides a unique dive vacation which submerges participants in the Mediterranean Sea and its culture. Scuba-diving in the pristine, turquoise Mediterranean offers a diverse mixture of dive adventures guaranteed to excite the novice and to inspire the advanced divers:
 

· diving in the exotic aquatic life in the Grotto Azzura in Taormina, Sicily
· diving in the diversity of the Mediterranean Sea in Taormina, Sicily
· diving to explore the archaeology of an ancient Roman wreck with its cargo of two thousand year old marble columns
· diving and exploring the underwater locations of the film, "The Deep Blue".

· gentle beach dives from the shoreline
 

The multilingual PADI instructors offer not only certification to novice divers, but also additional instruction to advanced divers who want to hone their skills and techniques. Restaurants, beaches, sports, historical sites and shopping abound in the picturesque medieval town of Taormina which overlooks the magnificent blue bay of Naxos, the first Greek colony in Sicily, offering you the possibility of combining a course of Italian language and diving holidays.

A language is not the result of a set of grammar rules. A language is the result of a culture and its traditions, its history, its life style and its places. With this in mind, if want a fuller cultural experience in Sicily, and not just be a simple tourist but be a real traveller, you can combine an Italian language course in group or Italian private lessons with "DIVING IN SICILY" program:

Option 1: The "DIVING IN SICILY"

This program is designed for those who know how to dive and want to experience the beauty of diving in Taormina.
From May to October
All inclusive: 2 afternoons with 2 dives each afternoon (40' diving each) € 195 per week.

Oprion 2 The "PADI INTERNATIONAL DIVING LICENCE"

This program is designed for those who want to get the PADI International Diving Licence.
From May to October.2 weeks all inclusive:
5 times theory lessons (1 h. ½ each) to learn the technique of diving and 5 times diving with gas tank (2 h. each dive)
€ 365 Prices are for 2 week.
All courses are extendable for as many week as you wish. All courses are given in Italian. Knowledge of the language is required.

After gaining your qualification you may wish to continue with either the diving in Sicily option, or becoming a Dive Master

Option 3 Become a dive professional!

This is the recognized PADI dive master course, combined with an internship that fits around your Italian studies.
Price:€ 650
  This is a minimum of 6 weeks. The prerequisite is PADI rescue diver (please note that open water and rescue diver can be done on site prior to this course - please inquire)
