Location
Ronda
The views alone
that can be seen from the city of Ronda are a must for any world traveller. Upon
arriving you will find yourself among a cultural and artistic diversity unlike
any other, all to be found in one of the most fascinating regions of Spain and
Europe.
Ronda enjoys
incredible geographic advantages, situated between the capital city of Seville
and the sunny Costa del Sol. You can be in a large city or on the beach within
an hour and a half, yet live in a temperate mountain climate immersed in the
rich historical traditions and the warm hospitality of a town of only 40.000
inhabitants, an ideal place to experience the Spanish language and culture.
Whether you are
passing through the old cobble-stoned neighbourhoods, by mansions still boasting
the family's original coat of arms, by impressive churches and through narrow,
winding streets, or visiting ancient Roman archaeological sites like Acinipo
nearby, studying in Ronda you will be submerged in the history and rhythm of
Spanish life.

details:
Option 1:
Spanish Families
Spanish families:
Living with
Spanish families is one of the best housing options you can choose if
you really want to learn Spanish. With
a family, you will be able to continue practising the language after class and
they will make you feel as if you were one of the family.
The
University of Malaga PIEE has been working for several years with a group of
families accustomed to receiving international students into their homes.
Usually, if you live with a family, you will have a private room with a study
table and a wardrobe. To live with a Spanish family you will have to bring your
own towels; you will need nothing more.
Option 2
and 3:
Shared or Individual Apartment
The
option of living in an apartment allows you to have more independence.
The
apartments are situated in the center of the city, a maximum of 15 minutes
walking from the language centre. They are fully furnished with a washing
machine, television and bed linens. We do recommend, though, that you bring your
own towels for personal use. There is no phone or internet connection at the
apartments.
This
is an ideal option for living with students from other nationalities and getting
to know other cultures, although you do have the option to live alone. The
quoted prices include the cost of utilities. The only cost not included is gas,
which will most likely cost about 9.00 euros per person/month.
Students living in apartments will also have to pay a deposit of 150.00 € which
will be refunded at the end of their stay, provided that the apartment has been
well kept.
