Locations

Students have a  wealth of countries, locations and programs to choose from! The most popular language in the world to learn, after English, is Spanish.  For the beginner there is a multiple of learn Spanish programs, and for those wishing to extend themselves more, you can take normal academic University programs, taught in Spanish. There is also a number of speciality courses. You can earn academic credits as you learn Spanish and volunteer with street kids, or as you travel the wilds of Venezuela. You can even learn Spanish in the morning and dive, Kite board, Dance or surf in the afternoon...

Argentina. There are three magnificent locations to choose from. Buenos Aires is the metropolitan heart of Argentina, and often called the Paris of South America. Bariloche is a stunning ski resort and lake side town renown for its adventure. Mendoza is a historic Andean city with the largest  mountains in the western world at its doorstep.

Bolivia is still largely untouched and undeveloped. Our school here is in Sucre, often termed the 'white city' due to its historic white colonial building. Bolivia is perfect of the students wanting to meet indigenous Indian people, and experience indigenous cultures that are largely still intact

Colombia. A country fill of contrasts. For years it has had a reputation as the drug production centre of the world. Yet this is largely for export - and the country now it is much more stable, and much more peaceful. It also has the friendliest people in the world!  The University de la Sabana in Bogotá is one of the most modern and prestigious in South America. Now is an excellent time to visit and study here.

Costa Rica is the country with no army, no conflicts, and the largest percentage of National parks in the world! Developed, it is a favourite destination for North Americans. Manual Antonio border its namesake  national park and is truly paradise, and Tamardino is a funky small coastal town with some of the best surfing anywhere in the world.

Ecuador for a small country seems to have it all! It  has the tallest active volcano in the world, great beaches, tropical rainforest, and deep valleys, colourful Indian Markets and of course the enchanting Galapagos Islands. Quito is not only the capital of Ecuador, but at the centre, and therefore a great location to explore the country. Manta, is a coastal city with great beaches, and an ideal stepping stone to Isla de Plata and the famous Galapagos islands

Mexico Travellers who get to know Cuernavaca well soon realize  especially privileged they are. Their enthusiasm is the result not of any special work of nature nor of any monument of man. No single attraction is particularly spectacular. But the felicitous combination of people, place, and climate imparts a special feeling, like the warm hug of a loved one. To those who take the time to reach out to it, Cuernavaca returns a warm Mexican abrazo , a welcome embrace that says “Esta es su casa.”

Peru is renowned as the land of the Incas. Students can experience this history first hand as they study Inca capital of Cusco, explore the lost city of Machu Picchu as well as ruins from a variety of other cultures including the Nazca and the Moche.

Spain, the home of Spanish! The views alone that can be seen from the city of Ronda are a must for any world traveller. Upon arriving you will find yourself among a cultural and artistic diversity unlike any other, all to be found in one of the most fascinating regions of Spain and Europe. Whether you are passing through the old cobble-stoned neighbourhoods, by mansions still boasting the family's original coat of arms, by impressive churches and through narrow, winding streets, or visiting ancient Roman archaeological sites like Acinipo nearby, studying in Ronda you will be submerged in the history and rhythm of Spanish life.

Venezuela  is a land of contrast. There is everything from Andes, to beaches, Gran Sabana and Caribbean islands, wild life, nightlife, Tepuy and indigenous peoples. Merida is a  a small  Andean university city of about 300,000. Merida is a very safe and friendly place. Surrounded by the 4-5000 metre mountains, Merida is an ideal place to combine your Spanish language studies and enjoy nature and the variety of Latino life.
