Study Abroad Media Langues Caraibes, is a privately run, independent language school. It had very close ties with several US Universities and also offers several courses in Guadeloupe on behalf of the Seattle Central Community College (SCCC).

Activities Available:

There is a wide range of activities available from relaxing on  the stunning beaches, to exploring the hinterland. Some of the activities include:
Creole Cooking (available once a week to all students), Dance (dancing traditional and modern Guadeloupean dances gwo ka, beguine, zouk or African dances), La Ka traditional Creole drum making and playing, Sailing to Peite-Terre, Marie-Galants and Les Saaintes, SEa kataking in the Basse-Terre National Park, Horse back riding, Canyoning, Surfing, Sind Surfing, Kiteboarding, Trekking, Scuba Diving and snorkelling.

Accommodation

NB: As part of SCCC credit requirements, students must spend a minimum of 4 weeks in Home Stay accommodation (to fully integrate with the local culture in their Study abroad). For long term students, after this time students do have the option of school residence.

Prices

Four weeks, 5 credit course: includes 20 hours tuition per week, Registration with both SCCC and Media Langues Caraibes, Home Stay accommodation including breakfast: $1295 Euros

Eight weeks, 10 credits : includes 20 hours tuition per week, Registration with both SCCC and Media Langues Caraibes, Home Stay accommodation including breakfast: $2590 Euros

Twelve weeks, 15 credits : includes20 hours tuition per week, Registration with both SCCC and Media Langues Caraibes, Home Stay accommodation including breakfast: $3790 Euros

Additional weeks are $325 Euros per week

je suis sûr que l'école français va pousser un cri perçant quand ils verront ça!
Je vais travailler pour Mc Kinsey le mois prochain, et ils m'ont donné l'argent pour apprendre une langue avant que je commence. La seule langue que j'ai apprise avant c'est le français, et donc, j'ai choisi d'améliorer mon français. A cause d'un prix fixe de mon entreprise, j'ai décidé d'aller plus loin que la france.
Moi je ne savais pas où était la Guadeloupe, alors je l'ai cherché dans mon atlas, et j'ai trouvé la Guadeloupe. J'étais très content de découvrir que c'est dans les caraïbes! Merci bien à Christian et Tim pour les corrections.
